Sanjeevani Nasha Mukti Abhiyan
Sanjeevani Nasha Mukti Abhiyan was carried out by RD Foundation in association with Rajasthan, Jalore Police department to address the grave issue of drug trafficking in villages of Rajasthan. This cause was adopted considering how drug trafficking is on the rise in the region and is gravely putting the future of the youth in danger as well as increasing the crime rate.
Areas where this issue was on the peak were identifided and an awareness strategy was created. Seminars were conducted by senior officials of the police department, RD Foundation members and other respectable members of the society in over 45 villages. Over 1,00,000 villagers of all age group i.e. from school students to elders were addressed through these seminars.
The seminars highlighted the harmful effects of consuming drugs and alcohol and educated villagers about how not to get into the trap of drug dealers and what actions should be taken if they found someone dealing in drugs.
Sanjeevani nashi mukti abhiyan was also a good trust building program between the state police and common villagers where the police department assured quick action against the culprits and safety of the people who extend their cooperation to the police.
